SATURDAY 20th - DEDICATION OF OUR MOTHER CHURCH

Today is the Feast of the Dedication of the Conventual Church of Saint John the Baptist in Valetta, built as the principal church of the Order by Grand Master Jean de la Cassière, and now known as St John's Co-Cathedral, the seat of the Archbishop of Malta.

Further information may be gained from the Cathedral's website, which contains much excellent historical information.   This page allows you to look at detailed photographs of the magnificent inlaid tombs in the pavement of the nave.
